In depression-era London, a now grown Jane and Michael Banks, along with Michael's three children, are visited by the enigmatic nanny, Mary Poppins following a personal loss. Through her unique magical skills, with the aid of her friend Jack, she helps the family rediscover the joy and wonder missing in their lives. Directed by Rob Marshall and featuring Emily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Dick van Dyke, Ben Wishaw, Emily Mortimer, Julie Walters, Colin Firth and Meryl Streep.

Blunt unquestionably makes Mary Poppins her own while also keeping nostalgic viewers happy with tributes to the original in this whimsical, playful sequel. – Common Sense Media
