To honour Coetzee's 80th birthday (9 February 2020) and his immense contribution to world literature Amazwi presents key exhibits from the archives, augmented by material from the Harry Ransom Center (University of Texas).

There are videos, lecture notes, manuscripts, correspondence and memorabilia. The dynamic and creative exhibition features the itineraries of Coetzee’s literary engagements with three cities and regions, (on or near the 34th S. parallel): Cape Town, Adelaide (Australia), and Buenos Aires.
