Friends of the Library Fete

Go Back

Date: Saturday, 23rd September 2017

Time: TBC

Dear Friends,

To celebrate the re-opening of the newly renovated Hill Street Library, the Friends of the Library Annual mini-fete will be taking place on the morning of Saturday, 23 September at the Hill Street Library Hall.
We are now on the lookout for donations.

Please find below a list of people to contact if you are able to help:

For books: please contact Sam Naidu at 046 622 5607 or 078 1033174 or Fiona De Villiers at 082 930 3375.

For cut flowers/plants/seedlings: please contact Rosemary Van Wyk Smith at 046 622 3076 or 076 609 0275 or Adrienne Whisson at 046 622 3383.

For White Elephant: please contact Mary-Louise Peires at 046 622 8836 or 082 772 0469 or Liz De Wet at 046 622 3859 or 076 334 3447.

Please note that unfortunately we do not have anywhere to store the donations and so the committee asks if donations, clearly marked FOL FETE 2017, could be dropped off at the Hill Street Library on Friday 22 September, 2-4pm.

The money that we raise at the Mini-Market is channeled into improving and supplementing the library services that Grahamstown, Alicedale and Riebeek East Public Libraries provide, by purchasing books, CDs and videos and trying to fill the library "wish-lists" that are put forward every year.

We thank you all for your wonderful support in the past and look forward to making the event this year just as successful with your help.
